How does the audio guide work?

It plays on your own phone, in English. Bring earphones and make sure your phone is charged before you go in.

What’s the difference between the two options?

Both include a timed entry ticket and the audio guide. With hosted entry, a host also meets you outside, gives a short introduction to the museum and its key works, and helps you through the entrance. The host does not come inside with you — it isn’t a guided tour.

Where do I meet the host?

At the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel (Place du Carrousel), in front of the Louvre. With your back to the glass Pyramid, the arch is across the road. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. The ticket-only option has no meeting point — you go straight to the entrance.

Will I see the Mona Lisa?

Yes — the audio guide covers the museum’s most celebrated masterpieces, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Both options are non-refundable, because museum entry tickets can’t be refunded. Please double-check your date and time before you book.

Is security screening part of the visit?

Yes. Every visitor goes through the museum’s security check, even with a timed ticket. Leave large bags and suitcases at your hotel — they aren’t allowed inside.
